ARTIST

Born in Palermo (1993), he is a composer, pianist, sound engineer and orchestra conductor. He graduated from the “Vincenzo Bellini” Conservatory (Pa) studying Composition with Marco Betta, Piano with Maria Giovanna Mangione and Conducting with Carmelo Caruso; moved to Rome, he obtained the Diploma of High Specialization in Composition at the National Academy of S. Cecilia (Rm) studying with Ivan Fedele. His compositions were played at the NAMM Musikmesse (Moscow), at the Municipal Theater of Bologna, at the Teatro Massimo (Pa), at the Auditorium Parco della Musica (Rm), etc. His music is characterized by a wide use of acoustic and electronic instruments, manipulated so as to create the sensation of an imaginary landscape, a dystopian space of memory in which the perception of time is completely altered. He has released five albums in Italy as a composer and pianist for the Almendra Music label and three albums in Berlin as a producer with the HCM label of which he is co-founder.
