CURATOR

Born in Palermo, she lives in Rome. Art critic and curator of contemporary art organizes exhibitions and events for private and institutional spaces that alternates with independent projects with a view to an interaction between art, community and territory; among these, the recent: Border Crossing (2018) project selected by the Manifesta12 Biennale in the Collaterals Events section. She is co-founder and director of Bridge Art, a contemporary art and residency format based on multicultural dialogue and respect for human rights. He has collaborated with UNIS New York, with CEE, Brussels, with the CUMO Eastern Mediterranean University Center, Noto (SR), with DAMS, Bologna and Rome, with the MAXXI, the Macro, the National Gallery and other institutions. He has organized and participated as a speaker at conferences and workshops in Italy and abroad. The academic literary, artistic, symbolic and psychological studies (along with art-therapy laboratories held within communities for psychosocial disadvantages) have centered over time on its creative, relational and expressive process, between art and otherness. He conceived the body of women, a laboratory dedicated to performance art, which later became the title of his latest book published in 2018. She was a consultant for the Ministry of Cultural Heritage in Memorabilia research, published by Laterza in three volumes; collaborator – author at the Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani and content editor for the IPZS, ART EDITOR. His texts are published in encyclopedias, books and catalogs in Italy and abroad.
